Camp Muddy Sneakers

2013-2021

The Muddy Sneakers team was proud to host nine summers of the much-loved Camp Muddy Sneakers. Through Camp, kids from age 4 through 14 explored the remarkable outdoor environment of the Blue Ridge while building strong relationships, new skills, and unstoppable curiosity about the world around them. Due to challenges securing a steady host site in the last years of camp, Camp Muddy Sneakers remains paused indefinitely.

Since 2021, Muddy Sneakers has expanded its capacity to offer Community Programming. This arm of the organization focuses on supporting our long-time school district partners in their summer education opportunities as well as partnering with other youth-focused organizations to offer nature expeditions, team experiences, and science camp facilitation through various summer and spring break programs.
